Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer Helper to join our team at NO. 1 SAFETY ROOFING. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various roofing operations, including loading and unloading materials, operating cranes, and performing routine maintenance work.

Responsibilities

* Load, unload, and transport construction materials as required

* Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs

* Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials

* Clean and lubricate cranes, and perform pre-operational inspections

* Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up construction sites

* Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials

* Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, and direct traffic when necessary

* Work collaboratively with other crew members to ensure efficient project completion

Requirements

* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in roofing or a related field

* Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

* Valid English language skills, with ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Working Conditions

* Work will be performed primarily outdoors, in various weather conditions

* Exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors

* Ability to work in a dynamic and physically demanding environment

Employment Type: Permanent

Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week
