Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Shree Nilkanth Food Services Inc. O/A Dairy Queen. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Planning: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Cost Control: Analyze and control costs associated with products and services to maintain profitability.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
- Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
