Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Support professional to join our team at Simplot Canada (II) Limited. As an Operations Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail location, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with loading and unloading of supplier trucks, as required, to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
  • Operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading of product for customers at the chem shed, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Support the Location Manager in ensuring excellent service to customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor inventory levels of product and supplies required for daily operations, completing and submitting accurate reports as needed.
  • Participate in regular facility inspections and safety meetings to review procedures, housekeeping, and safety awareness issues, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assist with agronomy-related tasks, including soil sampling and weigh wagon duties, as required.
Requirements
  • A valid Canadian Class 5 driver's license, with a Class 1A license being an asset.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a preference for experience in forklift operation, machinery, and farm equipment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
