Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Boxing Instructor to join our team in Vancouver. As a Boxing Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy and engaging boxing classes to our members. You will be expected to create a positive and motivating environment that inspires our members to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct and demonstrate the skills and practices of boxing to members
- Establish a client base through boxing demonstrations and one-on-one sessions with members
- Initiate and maintain sales of boxing sessions and packages with members
- Coordinate and schedule client sessions and keep records of schedule
- Plan and execute skills training plans with clients
- Set up and cleanup of session space and equipment used
- Conduct timely and professional communication with members, team members, and managers
- Meet with Personal Training managers to discuss business
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:
- Preferred: Group Fitness or Personal Training Certification as well as experience in either boxing or personal training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess honesty and personal integrity
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
- Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
- Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.
