Job Summary:

As a valued Relief Pharmacist, you will support our stores in Nanaimo, BC, and be responsible for managing day-to-day pharmacy operations. Your key responsibilities include dispensing medication, maximizing clinical opportunities, administering vaccinations, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations, and remaining current on industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Canadian Pharmacist licence and good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Your injection certification.
  • Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  • Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
  • The ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge.
  • Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
  • The ability to travel frequently throughout the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Compensation Details:

The compensation offered for this position ranges from $42.00 - $45.00 per hour, considering factors such as location, education, skills, experience, and other qualifications.
