Job Title: Chief Financial Officer - Goods Production and Utilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Ontario Inc. in Mississauga, ON.

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for allocating material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs. This includes authorizing and organizing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, coordinating the work of regions, divisions, or departments, and establishing financial and administrative controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Computer and technology knowledge
  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word

Work Environment:

The Chief Financial Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and the ability to work as a team player.
