About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team at Dentistry On Bay. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our dental team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the dental team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance claims.
  • Assist the dentist in the operatory, preparing patients for treatment and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, providing a warm and welcoming experience in our office.
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections, ensuring timely payment and accurate financial records.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including ordering office supplies, sending and receiving mail, and maintaining a tidy office environment.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a dental office setting, preferably in a reception or assisting role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other staff members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in dental software, including Abeldent, and experience with dental codes and terminology.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
