About the Role

Athennian Group is seeking a seasoned Product Management Director to lead our Product Management and Design teams in driving the development, launch, and growth of our products. As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet customer needs and align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing product management and design teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to execute against the Product Roadmap, ensuring successful delivery of product projects and initiatives.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather insights, validate product concepts, and ensure our product offerings solve real customer problems.
  • Develop and maintain a robust framework for defining and tracking key product metrics that align with business goals, using data-driven insights to optimize product features, enhance user experience, and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to lead market and competitive intelligence efforts, drive market and product positioning, optimize sales enablement strategies, and oversee pricing and packaging to ensure alignment with business objectives and market demands.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong commercial strategy and execution experience, including market intelligence, pricing, positioning, and revenue generation.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and a focus on revenue generation, driving product growth and profitability.
  • Expertise in product marketing, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic product positioning, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills, a true team spirit, and the ability to work seamlessly with others, always putting the team above ego.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience in thriving within and contributing to the advancement of high-growth startups.
  • MBA with a focus on finance or marketing, a strong asset.
