About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Installation Specialist to join our team at Soni & Sons Construction. As a key member of our flooring installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all flooring installations are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Prepare floors for installations
Work Environment

As a Floor Installation Specialist, you will work in a variety of settings, including urban areas and various locations. You will be exposed to odours and dusty environments, and will be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Judgement
  • Organized
  • Team player
