We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Baymont by Wyndham. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, post journal entries, and prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Attention to detail, tight deadlines, and ability to work under pressure
- Accurate, dependable, organized, and reliable
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
