We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing food service staff and supervising kitchen operations. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years experience in food service management
  • Cook (general) or equivalent experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
