Job Title: Server Assistant Evening/Weekends

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team at Auberge du Pommier. As a Server Assistant, you will provide exceptional support to our servers by ensuring that all tables are properly set, clean, and complete. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of floor awareness and having a thorough knowledge of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist servers with food running and ensure that plates are delivered to the correct guests.
  • Monitor the cleanliness of the section and ensure that all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter.
  • Communicate with servers and hosts to maximize seating and ensure a smooth dining experience.
  • Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required.
  • Ensure that condiments are pre-portioned and the fridges are stocked with essentials.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards to ensure that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required to ensure the success of our team.
Requirements:
  • Smart Serve Certification is a requirement for this role.
  • High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Organizational skills and ability to take direction and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong oral communication skills and high level of product knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
  • Minimum 3 days per week, available 4pm - close, minimum 8 hours.
