Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our tax team at RLB LLP. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned CPA to progress their career in a high-growth and high-opportunity public accounting environment.
About You- You have 1-3 years of post-CPA experience with recent employment in a public accounting firm, including a strong focus on tax.
- You have experience in performing tax planning and preparation for individuals, estates, trusts, and small businesses with a focus on an owner-managed client base.
- You are comfortable researching complex and unusual tax matters and applying this specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address a variety of tax issues relevant to internal and external clients, including re-organizations.
- You have a proven ability to prepare and review a variety of Canadian and/or U.S. tax returns (T1, T2, T3s, etc.) for individuals and organizations.
- You demonstrate a high level of accountability and ownership with little oversight.
- You are comfortable working with Caseware, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office products, and are always eager to learn new technologies.
- You have an insatiable curiosity to learn more and apply your technical knowledge to identify issues and offer recommended solutions for both your clients and co-workers.
In this role, you will be continually growing, challenged, and working under the direction of a Manager, Senior Manager, or Partner to apply your tax knowledge to identify issues and offer recommended solutions to our clients and co-workers.
