Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Leadership Manager to join our team at our Mississauga, ON location. This role will play a critical part in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, while also driving business growth through effective safety leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective EHS management strategies to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance on risk-related matters, including ergonomics, industrial hygiene, safety, environmental, incident investigation, and occupational health processes.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for employees on environmental, safety, and health compliance, as well as behavior-based safety principles and energy-based safety components.
  • Partner with operation leaders to ensure compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety leadership role within an electrical, power generation, construction, manufacturing, or related work environment.
  • Certification: CSP / CUSP, and/or a willingness to acquire the required credentials within a stipulated time upon hire.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Compensation Package
  • $115,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
