Job Summary

CP Water Hauling, a family-owned business, is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of water trucks, vacuum trucks, tractor trucks, and trailers in excellent working condition.

Responsibilities
  • Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain vehicles and trailers.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance work.
  • Complete and maintain maintenance documentation.
  • Repair mechanical components.
  • Perform road tests.
  • Complete detailed, clear, and concise work orders.
  • Maintain the shop in a clean, safe, and environmentally sound manner.
  • Work overtime and on weekends when necessary.
  • Travel to diagnose and repair equipment in the field.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Certification (Red Seal) preferred.
  • 3-5 years industry experience.
  • Valid Class 3 Driver's license required.
  • Safe driving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Skilled in problem-solving techniques.
