Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Holy Shakes/t kathi roll eatery. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for kitchen and dining staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage inventory of food, kitchen supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels and prevent waste.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Train, supervise, and coordinate the activities of kitchen and dining staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Train Staff in Sanitation and Safety Procedures: Educate staff on proper sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Calculate and order ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation to ensure efficient service and minimize waste.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit reports on kitchen and dining operations, including sales, inventory, and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work and the advertised start date.
  • Relocation: Willingness to relocate for this position.
  • Residency: Current residency in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in this field of employment.
  • Study Level: Highest level of study completed.
