Job Title: Data Analyst II

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team at HireTalent. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $36 CAD per hour, paid bi-weekly through T4.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in roles related to business intelligence, HRIS, or a similar field.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
  • Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Design and implement data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into business decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, HR, HRIS, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, HRIS, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritize, present, and negotiate timelines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, such as Peoplesoft or Workday HCM, is an asset but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PowerBI, database programming languages (SQL), and ETL platforms (KNIME).
  • Coding knowledge in R, Python, Java, MS Excel/VBA, or other languages.
  • Knowledge of Business Objects and experience with data sources and reporting tools.
