Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway (1041956 BC). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and establish work schedules to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
