About the Role:

This position requires a Registered Nurse with excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a member of our dynamic healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical areas and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Administer medications and procedures as per established policies and guidelines.
  • Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient condition accurately and timely.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families to promote health and wellness.

Requirements:

  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card upon hire.
  • Recent nursing experience in acute medicine is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • A caring attitude towards patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including heavy lifting and intensive physical effort.
