About the Role

Adecco Canada is seeking a dedicated and organized Forklift Operator with experience on Counterbalance machines and shipping and receiving experience to join our client's logistics team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely and accurate shipping and receiving of products
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse
  • Report to Warehouse Supervisor/Warehouse Lead Hand and follow all fork truck safety standards
  • Pick and pack daily orders according to customer and company requirements
  • Load and unload trailers and communicate with carriers and customers regarding order pick-up
  • Put stock away in proper locations and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Utilize scanning guns to complete timely and accurate inventory transactions
  • Report any inventory shortages or issues to Management daily
  • Participate in plant-wide physical inventories when scheduled
Requirements
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Certified/Licensed forklift operator - Counterbalance mandatory, reach truck is an asset
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in a fast-paced material handling position preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs
  • Knowledge of spill cleanups and response, as well as WHMIS/GHS procedures
