Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift-Merchandising Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move merchandise throughout the facility, receiving and stocking inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to move merchandise, pallets, and supplies throughout the facility, following company safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, ensuring accurate inventory levels and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, answering questions, and assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues and concerns.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting regular safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
  • Ensure the sales floor and merchandising presentation are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures, including zoning, stocking, and rotating merchandise, and setting up and cleaning product displays.
  • Assist with club pick-up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures, and performing occasional audits for accuracy.
Requirements
  • 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification and ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Customer service, retail experience, and supervising a team are preferred qualifications.
