Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer II to contribute to the support and deployment of Ansys EDA products across top semiconductor companies. In this role, you will collaborate with software developers, architects, and product specialists to get the product developed and deployed for our leading-edge semiconductor design customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop competence in one or more Ansys EDA products working independently
  2. Provide customer support tasks, answering questions on tools functionality
  3. Triage complaints about product defects and root cause for R&D
  4. Write clear descriptions of product enhancement requests
  5. Work behind the scenes, be task-oriented, and take direction from a mentor to assist with evaluations, benchmarks, or demos
  6. Develop the trust and respect of team members
Requirements
  1. BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years' experience, MS with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year experience
  2. Strong problem-solving skills
  3. Good programming skills
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Knowledge of VLSI design, Physical Design, CMOS fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in ASIC Physical design, Power-Integrity/Signal-Integrity/Reliability Closure, or Custom circuit design and simulation is a plus.
