About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer II to contribute to the support and deployment of Ansys EDA products across top semiconductor companies. In this role, you will collaborate with software developers, architects, and product specialists to get the product developed and deployed for our leading-edge semiconductor design customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop expertise in one or more Ansys EDA products and work independently to resolve customer issues.
  2. Provide customer support, answering questions on tool functionality and troubleshooting product defects.
  3. Write clear descriptions of product enhancement requests and work with the R&D team to resolve issues.
  4. Assist with evaluations, benchmarks, and demos, and develop the trust and respect of team members.
Requirements

BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5 years' experience, or MS with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year experience.

Strong problem-solving skills, good programming skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Knowledge of VLSI design, Physical Design, CMOS fundamentals, and passion to learn and deploy new technologies are preferred.
