Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Kylin Restaurant and Buffet. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality dishes.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards.
- Customer Service: Ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that their dining experience is memorable.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to deliver high-quality dishes to our guests. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Cuisine SpecialtiesWe specialize in Cantonese cuisine and are looking for someone who has experience in this type of cuisine.
