Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily and weekly plant inspections, maintaining accurate records of slump times, coordinating distribution supply requirements, and building strong relationships with supervisors and drivers to optimize plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct plant inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of slump times and coordinate distribution supply requirements
- Build strong relationships with supervisors and drivers to optimize plant operations
- Investigate potential issues and initiate corrective actions or seek support from management resources
- Collaborate with the Plant Management Team to develop behavior management strategies
- Lead plant team meetings to discuss key performance indicators and goals
- Ensure proper completion of contractor safe work permit forms
- Participate in annual safety audits and prepare for future audits
- Track plant trucks out of service and coordinate with distribution to ensure driver availability
- Conduct weekly cleanliness inspection of the plant fleet
- Issue keys to assigned trucks and verify their condition
- Meet monthly testing targets and incident reporting requirements
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in batching, plant operation, blending, or quality assurance functions
- Valid driver's license and may require a loader ticket
- Basic computer skills to operate batch mixing system
