The Dean of Management and Education is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the Department of Management and Education at LCI Education. This senior-level position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in education and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Department of Management and Education, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and programs to support the delivery of high-quality education and training.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Committee, Study Committee, and Pedagogical Committee to ensure alignment with the College's strategic plan.
  • Manage the life cycle of curricula, including development, implementation, evaluation, and updating.
  • Ensure the quality of training and education, working closely with the Director of Studies.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of departmental programs, including enrollment, re-enrollment, pass, and graduation rates.
  • Manage financial resources allocated to the department, ensuring effective budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Represent the department on various committees and working groups, as required.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Graduate studies in education or a related field are an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in management and education, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) oral and written.
  • Professional competency in the English language is required.
