Join Kinectrics in the Nuclear Equipment Solutions department where you will play a crucial role in the mechanical testing and inspections team.

As a Technical Mechanical Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to perform routine investigations and technical studies for customers in various disciplines, including mechanical.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform all duties in a safe manner in compliance with Kinectrics policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections of products and document findings on inspection forms.
  • Prepare shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Test products using standard techniques and provide support in laboratory or field environments.
  • Determine test results by analyzing data from measurement and test equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork to support the QA program, including non-conformance reports and inspection plans.
  • Support the design, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, systems, and processes.
  • Participate in the analysis of test results and data by using standard software packages.
  • Write reports and prepare records of test methods, observations, and test data.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and maintain good customer relations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following good quality and safety practices.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • A Secondary School diploma in technical studies or equivalent.
  • Up to 5 years of experience or equivalent education in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Millwright, or a similar field.
  • Experience using modern test equipment and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to troubleshoot mechanical devices.
  • Good computer skills for data acquisition and analysis.
  • Familiarity with QA principles and safety practices.
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain nuclear site security clearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
