Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the building and testing of prototypes, assisting in design, development, and testing, and preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the building and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet specifications
  • Assist in design, development, and testing of medical imaging equipment
  • Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports for projects
  • Write specifications for medical imaging equipment
  • Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components
  • Conduct safety training programs for staff
  • Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data
  • Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
Computer and Technology Knowledge
  • Proficient in database software and image editing software
  • Experience with MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word
  • Knowledge of MS Office and MS Windows
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.
