We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team at RhynoCare Healthcare. As a PSW, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our residents in a variety of long-term and acute care facilities in the Tiverton area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
• Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent care and personal support in assigned home areas.
• Ensure timely and safe resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Manage medications and narcotics, adhering to protocols on all shifts.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.

Requirements

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Able to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
• BLS Certificate.
• Valid First Aid & CPR.
• Proof of current immunizations for MMRV and negative TB skin test within one year, as well as Hepatitis B.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shift times, including 8- or 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to 'float' between units within a hospital, as needed.
• Reliability in accepting and adhering to scheduled shifts.
