Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join the Medical Imaging Computed Tomography team at the Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform examinations in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
- Operate computerized imaging equipment, including processing and archiving of acquired data.
- Prepare examination trays and patients for specific procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification with CAMRT (Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Computed Tomography) and completion of a recognized advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Completion of an Intravenous Therapy training course and two (2) years' recent related experience performing MRI and CT procedures.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification – Basic Life Support (BCLS) level.
