Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GB Emmet Holdings Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team in place to deliver exceptional service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information to inform our business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on our business performance and identifying areas for improvement.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet customer demand. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk, making this role physically demanding.
Requirements:- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
