Job Summary:
The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Long-Term Occasional (LTO) Curriculum Coverage Teacher position. This role is responsible for providing instructional support to students in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum-based instruction to students in a classroom setting
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Provide support to students with diverse learning needs
Requirements:
- Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
