Job Title: Non-Destructive Tester

Kusiar Project Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Tester to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Non-Destructive Tester to conduct liquid penetrant inspections, interpret and document results, and establish NDI techniques and calibration standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in non-destructive testing and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct liquid penetrant inspections to detect defects and flaws in materials
  • Interpret and document inspection results, including visual indicators and conductivity meters
  • Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Set up and operate radiographic equipment, magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic equipment
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Instruct and supervise trainees in non-destructive testing techniques
  • Maintain test result reports and ensure accurate documentation
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in non-destructive testing
  • Non-Destructive Testing Certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods
