Bakery Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Manoir Caledonia. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and cakes.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
- Prepare special orders and ensure that all products meet our high standards.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Excellent client focus and dependability.
- Judgement and reliability.
- Ability to work as part of a team and be a team player.
- Patience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
