Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in improving our business processes and IT functions, ensuring that our technology solutions align with our business goals and deliver value to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Improvement
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements and objectives.
    • Analyze existing business systems, workflows, and technologies to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
    • Create system design specifications, including functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to optimize business operations.
  • IT Solutions
    • Manage hardware, including laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and printers, by evaluating and confirming user requirements and monitoring performance of devices.
    • Manage software tools used by functional areas, including installation, renewals, and purchase of new products and licenses.
    • Be the primary point of contact for service tickets, providing status updates and supporting resolution where needed.
    • Provide technical support and expertise on technical hardware and software, and network-related issues.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate IT related project planning, including defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between internal and external business stakeholders on IT related topics.
    • Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems meet quality and functionality standards.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, system designs, and project-related materials.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in business, information technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, developing business process, combined with knowledge of software development.
  • Knowledge of relevant software applications and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience considered an asset.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
