Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting and Planning: Build and run monthly rolling forecasts, collecting, checking, and analyzing all necessary information, sales trends, and seasonality.
- Statistical Modeling: Implement enhanced statistical models to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Collaboration and Communication: Lead monthly forecast reviews with local planners and markets to sharpen the monthly forecast, collaborate with Marketing and Markets on new products forecasting, and act as a pivot to integrate it in the global forecast.
- Supply Chain Integration: Provide consolidated forecasts and hypotheses to Supply Planning monthly, according to the Supply Chain integrated model.
- Product Management: Evaluate product phase-in and phase-out implications on forecast, as well as novelties cannibalization impacts on existing products.
- Local S&OP: Prepare and lead local S&OP.
- Forecast Validation: Participate in forecast validation process to match forecast against Three-Year Plan, budget, and related revisions.
- KPIs and Improvement: Define and monitor KPIs related to demand planning and actual sales (forecast accuracy), develop improvement action plans to enhance efficiency.
- Information Sharing: Cooperate with BU Marketing, Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure alignment on distribution plans and information sharing.
- Forecasting Information: Provide forecasting information to all requesting departments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- University Degree: University degree in Engineering, Economics, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in forecasting or demand.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Knowledge of supply chain process and procedures.
- Planning Techniques: Good understanding of planning techniques and models and ability in using it.
- Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management techniques.
- Technical Skills: Excel and Power-Bi excellent knowledge, Anaplan is a plus.
