Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Village Loft. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our beverage menu, including cocktails, wine, and spirits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the service bar, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Restock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, beer, and mixers, as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Smart Serve Certification is a requirement for this position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy bar environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects, as required.
