Job Title: Window Frame Assembler - Glazing
We are seeking a skilled Window Frame Assembler to join our team at our Mississauga branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of commercial and industrial size window systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each project.
- Measure, mark, and cut aluminum components.
- Position and secure panes in frames.
- Assemble and install prefabricated glass or glass products.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools and measurement instruments.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working with glass or aluminum is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift 20lbs.
- Ability to read blueprints (shop drawings), calculate angles, and measure/mark-up material.
