Job Title: Transportation Logistics Coordinator

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Lynch Bus Lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, including planning and organizing tasks, tracking work orders, and monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments.

Responsibilities:

- Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational efficiency
- Organize tasks to accomplish work and meet deadlines
- Oversee operational logistics, including tracking work orders and monitoring supply chain
- Plan and organize operational logistics, including scheduling assignments and coordinating activities of vehicle operators and crews
- Revise type and quantity of materials required for production, construction, and other projects
- Track and complete work orders, and maintain accurate records and logs
- Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies, and process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators and crews
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses
