Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Glass Cutter Assistant to join our team at a glass manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will assist the glass cutter in various tasks, including lifting and moving glass, handling glass properly, and cutting glass using specific tools and equipment.

Responsibilities
Assist the glass cutter in reading production plans, including tickets and labels
Assemble and check product parts
Cut glass using specific tools and equipment
Safely operate a glass cutter machine
Lift up to 50 pounds
Work with your teammates to ensure the job is done in a timely manner

Requirements
Experience working with glass, including proper handling techniques and glass cutting
Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
Ability to lift 50 pounds and use simple hand/power tools
Ability to follow instructions and communicate well with colleagues
Positive attitude and ability to work in a team as well as independently

What We Offer
Paid weekly
Monday to Friday shift pattern

Contract to hire, potential for full-time position
Training provided on how to use manufacturing equipment
