Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for project engineering, preparation of procurement specifications and test plans, vendor document reviews, construction support and participating in the commissioning of systems, off and on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project engineering for Building and Municipal Construction
  • Lead multi-disciplined teams for completion of project to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Ensure that engineering design specifications are as per contract
  • Interact with project managers, suppliers, clients and contractors
  • Provide support to contractors during construction and commissioning
  • Review vendor drawings
  • Conduct meetings with clients and contractors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Registered or eligible for P.Eng registration in the Province of Newfoundland
  • 4-10 years of experience in an industrial plant and/or construction environment
  • Proficient in engineering software applications such as database tools, AutoCAD
  • Thorough understanding of codes, governing regulations, and industry practices
  • Project engineering and/or consulting engineering experience
  • Experience in the Healthcare Design and Construction is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate with team members and interface with clients in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Technical competence and strong attention to detail

  • Competitive base salary between $100,000 and $130,000 depending on skills and experience
