At the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist I to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Physiotherapist I, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve optimal physical function and independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence in development, disease, disability, chronic conditions, illness, and functional decline.
- Collaborate with patients and families in determining, implementing, and evaluating appropriate rehabilitation strategies.
- Participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement.
- Contribute to quality improvement and professional community through peer mentoring and supervising students.
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Proficient problem-solving skills, including analytical thinking and conflict resolution/negotiation.
- Effective written, verbal, communication, and computer skills.
- Strong and effective leadership skills, as well as organizational skills.
- Experience with Connect Care (electronic medical record).
- Experience in leading or coordinating services and teams, while working closely with interdisciplinary team members.
- Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
