About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Lifecycle Planner to join our team at RONA Inc. As a key member of our Merchandising and Planning team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through effective inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a financial business partner to Merchandising and Planning teams, providing analytical support and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to develop and implement inventory management plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
  • Develop and maintain financial planning models to forecast and budget inventory levels, and provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, and drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate university education in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail inventory management, with a strong background in financial analysis and planning.
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
