Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Coast 2 Coast Transport LTD. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations to ensure efficient transportation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe and reliable transportation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation, including driver logbooks, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and communicate with customers and other stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Language: English language proficiency is required.
