**Job Description**
- Serves as the primary point of contact for payroll, leaves of absences, pension & benefits, and HRIS/learning system.
- Responsible for payroll processing, including ROEs, T4s, year-end reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with established financial and legislative requirements.
- Coordinates leave of absences and accommodation requests, oversees LTD claims management, provides assistance with return-to-work processes, and communicates with external parties and internal managers or supervisors.
- Administers the group benefits plan and registered retirement savings plan, communicating with employees about program details or changes and responding to employee questions.
- Ensures employee HR records meet legislative and organizational standards, guaranteeing accurate and up-to-date information in HR files and HRIS.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Completion of a University degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a human resources generalist capacity.
- CHRP/CHRL designation or working towards.
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation or working towards.
- Experience within the not-for-profit sector is preferred.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
- Valid Ontario Driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel.
