R&D Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Project Manager to join our team in Barrie, ON. Key Responsibilities- Manage the launch process from design and development to stable mass production, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including championing and executing product/process change notices.
- Lead the project team through the launch phase, assuming responsibility for planning, budgeting, monitoring, and risk management.
- Ensure the successful introduction of new products and product changes with the production team, ensuring detailed implementation planning, timing, parts, and resource availability.
- Manage the open issues list, working with the project leaders and administrative assistant to maintain accuracy and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Three-year College Diploma in Engineering or a related subject; an Engineering Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of applicable work experience in an engineering or production environment, with a minimum of three years of demonstrated project/program management experience.
- Certificate or Diploma in Project Management/registered PMP preferred.
- MS Office, MS Project, and a broad understanding of design, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
