We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at MTS Recruiting. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our President and Senior Project Engineer to provide engineering support on the design, selection, and supervision of company projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and select vertical turbine and submersible pumps for various applications, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Prepare quotes and tenders for municipal well and pump supply and/or maintenance and well rehabilitation programs, meeting client expectations and company standards.
- Manage and supervise pump maintenance and well rehabilitation programs, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Maintain strong client relationships, manage scheduling, and coordinate site requirements for our service crews.
- Oversee shop operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and efficient use of resources.
- Opportunities for supervision of junior staff and field crews, as well as hands-on projects, will be available.
- Prepare project reports and draft invoices for projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform office administration tasks as required, supporting the team's efforts.
- Occasional attendance at conferences and trade shows will be necessary to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- A Registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, with related disciplines in Civil and/or Mechanical engineering, is essential.
- 5-8 years of project management experience is preferred, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in standard office software, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in municipal well supply or municipal water pumping station infrastructure is an asset, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites within Ontario, as required.
- A 37.5-40 hour workweek is standard, with the opportunity to grow within the company and take on new challenges.
