Maintenance and Engineering Director

PepsiCo Canada seeks a skilled Maintenance and Engineering Director to lead our Western Canada Supply Chain operations.
The ideal candidate will champion quality, cost, service, and safety performance, driving organizational health and employee relations. They will develop and coach managers to solve operational issues and achieve performance outcomes.
Key responsibilities include ensuring continuous improvement processes, executing effective change management, and communicating with cross-functional leaders. The Maintenance and Engineering Director will also maintain P&L responsibility over maintenance cost centers and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, and prior experience leading a large and complex team. The successful candidate will possess project management skills, including business development, compensation, continuous improvement decision making, employee benefits, group leadership, and interpersonal skill leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Champion quality, cost, service, and safety performance for the Western Canada Supply Chain.
- Lead the Maintenance and Engineering department, supporting employee and team development, people planning, and performance management.
- Develop and coach managers, supply chain leaders, and team members to solve operational issues and achieve performance outcomes.
- Drive organizational health within the Maintenance & Engineering department through strong employee relations in partnership with Human Resources.
- Ensure continuous improvement processes are followed and influence change across multiple teams.
- Execute effective change management to drive business performance while minimizing people impacts.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional leaders to collaborate on strategic planning, problem solving, and performance achievement.
- Maintain P&L responsibility over maintenance cost centers, including repair and maintenance, maintenance labor, utilities, and capital improvement plans.
- Responsible for regulatory, environmental, and legal compliance related to Maintenance and utilities.
