Job Summary

The University of Lethbridge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director, Campus Development. This position involves overseeing various aspects related to campus planning and development, construction projects, space management, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee campus planning and development, including strategic stakeholder engagement and project management.
  • Supervise a team and ensure the efficient and effective development of the university campus.
  • Play a key role in shaping the institution's physical environment, occupant safety, and reputation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in leadership of major projects, planning processes, and project execution.
  • PMP, Engineering Technologist, LEED AP, or American Physical Plant Association (APPA) Certification.
  • Negotiation, influencing, organizing, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters in Planning, Masters in Urban Design, or Master of Business Administration.
  • 20 years of progressive experience in leadership of major projects, planning processes, and project execution.
  • Minimum requirements plus Registered Architect, Planner, or Engineer.

What We Offer

The University of Lethbridge offers a competitive salary range of $97,373.43 - $122,495.52 annually, with the possibility of reaching up to $147,617.60 annually (APO - Grade 6). The position is based in Lethbridge, with a campus located in one of Canada's top small cities.
