Job Overview

KCKW Badminton is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Badminton Team Leader to join our team. This is a permanent position requiring the individual to work 30 to 44 hours per week.

About the Role

This role involves managing day-to-day operations, planning competitive schedules and programs, developing and implementing training sessions, motivating athletes, analyzing performance, and observing prospective athletes' skills. The successful candidate must possess excellent oral communication, interpersonal awareness, reliability, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, standing for extended periods, and 20/20 vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement well-structured competitive schedules and programs.
  • Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games.
  • Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance.
  • Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance.
  • Carry out management duties and develop training sessions.
Work Environment

The work site environment includes air-conditioned spaces and non-smoking facilities. The work setting is in an urban area with a regional sports club and local sports clubs. Transportation/travel information requires own transportation and a willingness to travel.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • No specific salary range mentioned but based on industry standards, a salary of around $55,000 - $75,000 per year can be expected, depending on location and qualifications.
